At HB Chemical providing excellent customer service has always been our number one initiative. Customers want quality products at fair prices, and they want to purchase them from an experienced team who is easy to work with. That is what HB Chemical is all about. We store products in over 30 different warehouses in North America in order to accommodate our customers’ needs – from the east coast to the west coast, Canada down to Mexico, and everywhere in between. We carry more than 600 different products and have a knowledgeable team that can assist in finding a solution to our customers’ most complex problems. A unique part of our company is our office in Shanghai — Alchemy Trading. Alchemy allows us to have boots on the ground in many of the chemical plants in China to ensure quality standards. They are also intimately involved at the Chinese ports and with the shipping lines to provide the ultimate transparency when it comes to logistics. As devoted as we are to our customers, we are equally as dedicated to our suppliers. We consider ourselves an extension of them and represent their products in ways that contribute to their success. Whether the market is at a high or things are looking dismal we pride ourselves on our commitment to our partners. We keep a steady flow of communication and we don’t shy away from the truth even when it is unpleasant.

HB Chemical continues to improve what it brings to the table by consistently looking for ways to grow. In 2021 we hired Dr. Andy Kosal as our Technical Director to elevate our technical support and strengthen our product understanding. He’s been an integral part of expanding our business both in tire and non-tire. In 2022 we were fortunate enough to capture several new product lines including J Drasner low melt poly bags and film, Dow Nordel EPDM, and G&E Ravaflex. We are always exploring innovative products and ideas for the betterment of those we serve.

Since Ravago acquired us in 2019 our team has grown rapidly. We now employ just over 50 people with almost everyone working out of our main office in Twinsburg, OH. Through the acquisition and growth we have maintained a small company way of doing business as we truly believe that is the key to success. Ravago has given us the flexibility to maintain our HB Chemical culture in large part because of how well it aligns with the standards that Ravago practices. We are very fortunate to have the resources and collaboration of such a well respected company like Ravago to tap into whenever we need.
